IMPACT SPOTLIGHT

Meet Thiago! Thiago was born at the Casa Materna in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, started by longtime BECOMER, Dr. Erica McElroy. Thiago was born with a facial malformation that required a series of complicated brain and facial surgeries. His parents (pictured below) could not access or afford these surgeries, and there were no surgeons nor the proper equipment to perform them in their country. BECOMING Foundation, in partnership with KIBS Foundation, used its networks to make a way for Thiago’s surgeries in Israel, which proved utterly successful.
