DISCIPLESHIP.
Since 2014, the BECOMING curriculum, created and developed by Kerry Hasenbalg, has been used to disciple over a thousand men and women through private retreats, one-on-one engagements, church small groups, and online sessions, specifically now at The Becoming Academy. We often refer to them now as “BECOMERS”; trained and equipped with daily tools to flourish in Jesus.
Leaders of NGOs, teens, culture-shapers, and vulnerable people, both men and women alike have come to BECOMING to engage in its 12 Biblical practices of faith. Through it, they experience greater measures of inner healing, spiritual formation, and reconciliation in the context of their own lives and relationships. RETREATS.
PRIVATE
The majority of retreats are private and tailored to the needs of the participants or organization inviting. Private retreats have ranged from 2-day to 5-day and from 6-person to 60-person conference retreats. They’ve been organized for a friend group at a monastery, a single-family in a home, several families at a cabin, or as a destination-based event with a single focus, such as marriage or learning to hear God.
